This opportunity offers exposure to mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, financial due diligence, IPOs, capital raisings and strategic advisory projects within respected Australian advisory practices.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow, forecasts and operational data.
Identify and quantify key risks, issues and value drivers affecting deal structure, purchase price and
transaction outcomes.
Confidential recruitment advertisement - prepared for a VIP client
Prepare financial due diligence reports and data books that translate complex analysis into commercially
relevant insights.
Work across buy-side, sell-side and pre-lend engagements for private equity, corporate and privately held
clients.
Participate in, and progressively lead, meetings with target management and clients.
Support Investigating Accountant reports for IPOs and capital raisings where relevant.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to proposals, pitches and business development as seniority
grows.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 3 years of directly relevant professional experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, audit, corporate finance, financial advisory, deals advisory, investment banking or mergers and acquisitions.
English language proficiency of IELTS 7.0 overall or above, or an accepted equivalent English test result.
Demonstrated industry exposure within a Big 4 accounting firm, mid-tier advisory firm, investment bank,
corporate finance practice or comparable professional services environment.
Strong financial analysis, commercial judgement and technical accounting capability.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence preparing financial models, reports and presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
Professional presentation, commercial awareness and the ability to perform under transaction deadlines.
CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification completed or in progress is highly regarded.
